On a daily basis, we live with passwords that need to be increasingly more complex. The objective of strong authentication is to work with the “something you know” plus “something you have” concept. It is thus possible to reduce the complexity of what you "know", which would be a secret password. This process occurs through numerical code generators, called Tokens. A code, which will be the "something you have", is generated every 60 seconds. The intelligence is in the authenticator, which will accept only one access for each password generated, creating the OTP – One Time Password.
